The first of what we all hope will be an annual Charity Football Tournament with Tesco, took place on Sunday June 4th at Sutton United FC. A 7 aside, 10 team, charity football tournament.
The fabulous day included 6 teams from Tesco South East UK stores.

Everyone who took part was volunteering their time, not only to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation and Diabetes UK but also, to raise awareness of the work Celeb FC do around the UK and the great new Community Initiative from Tesco New Malden, supporting Surrey based small Charities.

The last 2 Tesco stores in the knockout played valiantly, But just couldn’t hold off the Celeb FC teams and after a noble fight & penalties it came down to a Celeb FC final; Which was a very closely played match but the Celeb FC All Stars lifted the Winners Trophy.
