Celeb FC was extremely fortunate to have been involved with this years Mayor of Sutton’s Charity Gala, ( On social media – tagged as #MayorsGala ) which was held on Thursday 12th October 2017 at The Grange Restaurant, Wallington. Over 100 guests were at the event, including Mayors & speakers from other boroughs, Lord & Lady Tope & Local MP Tom Brake.
Host for the evening was BBC Sports Presenter, PL Fanzone Host & Celeb FC Teammate – Mr Michael Kurn. Who was joined at points throughout the evening by Leigh Norris, Manager of The Grange. Particularly for the raffle, which saw a huge amount raised (surpassing last years).
The evening also saw some large donations coming in from The Grange itself, Jason Burrill from Celeb FC & local businesses.

Also a Huge thank you to Clarkes Jewellers in Sutton for a fabulous Jewellery donation which led to another £190 being added to the fundraising efforts, thanks to #PresciousProsecco
The music from The Ratpack Tribute act – Mickey Jones, Superb Indian & English Cuisine, along with the great comedic duo of Michael Kurn (Our Host) & Jason Burrill (Winner of Big brother 2016) made for a fabulous evening…..

Donating to the Mayor’s Charities
The Mayor’s two charities for the coming year are the Sutton Carers Centre and Sutton Women’s Centre. Both charities are heavily reliant on donations.
