On Sunday 29th June, I pulled into the Car Park at The Water Gardens Shopping Centre in Harlow just at the same time as Micky Dumoulin was singing one of my favourite songs – “Me and Mrs Jones” 
The hairs stood up on the back of my neck as I walked toward the grassed area & the “Launch Event” for Harlow 5 Aid… This happened for 2 reasons;
1) Micky is an outstanding singer & if you have never heard him,you have missed out…
2) I saw an event made up of so many parts of a community, that it was awe inspiring.
I come from an area in South London, where, as much as we try, the community spirit never seems to raise itself over much more than a whimper lately.
Harlow & Essex in general were ROARING on Saturday… All I can say is I am humbled & proud to be a part of it…
