Recently, celebrities, ex-sports people, social media influencers, musicians & reality TV personalities got together to take part in the Kirton FC v Celeb FC Charity Football match at the amazing MILLWALL FOOTBALL CLUB in Bermondsey (THE DEN) raising funds for Save The Children UK

This event was created by Jamie Wadlow of Kirton FC to support their fundraising for Save The Children UK & Celeb FC were very happy to be a part of it.

Organiser Jamie Wadlow said “I’ve always been involved in different charity event’s but never held my own personal event. From years of running football teams I decided last year to create a large-scale charity celebrity football match using our club. Children’s charities have won my heart the most as it breaks my heart to see children in need of support, as they are the most vulnerable in society. I’ve followed a lot of Save the children UK’s work & it would be a great honour to raise a large amount of funding for them, helping them to change the lives of children in the UK” Thank you to everyone at Celeb FC and our lads who have travelled far to help make it all happen. We are looking forward to a rematch”

For Celeb FC it was a shaky start – but we pulled it out of the bag with some new teammates & some formation changes; fielding another strong, confident team..

Karin Flower, Founder of Celeb FC said, “We are utterly delighted to lend our support to this event. Everything that we do is important but Save The Children UK is a truly worthy charity that supports the most vulnerable in our country & without the funding they so desperately need, they can’t help the young ones that rely on them the most.
