More Celebrities on Board – Celeb FC is developing!

So we are hurtling towards the day when Teachers, Children & Harlow Police take on TeamCelebrities in what is shaping up to be the Charity Football Event of 2013.

We have some great celebrities on board already

And in the last week we have had some more jump on board after adjusting schedules etc.

Celebrity’s such as-

Darren TysonDarren White – Played Darren Tyson in Sky’s Dream Team – Harchester united and is an ex pro footballer who played for Millwall. Darren is a regular charity footballer & plays in many Charity events. Ryan Lee, another Sky Dream team actor/Player is also playing.

Danny Edwards – Ex QPR will be playing. Danny joined QPR in the  youth team in 2001.

Danny QprHe is also the Football Academy Director of the Ealing Hammersmith & West London College football team. Danny also coaches inmates in Wandsworth Prison, Wormwood Scrubs Prison and Feltham Young Offenders, being a great advocate of football as a positive influence. He also coaches the youth team at QPR’s Centre of Excellence.

LonyoTo add some more music we have the great 2-step / garage MC/producer LONYO.

Lonyo is best known for his hits “Summer of Love” & “Garage Girls“..

Rough Copy – Well known X factor sensations who had to leave the show before the live final, over Visa Rough Copyissues. The band from south London had been selected to take part in the judges’ houses section of the competition.

One of the members were unable to get a Visa to travel to the US, which ended their show journey early 😦

David Beckham LookalikeAndy Harmer – For 14 years Andy Harmer has been the  UK’s most popular and well known David Beckham lookalike;:He has appeared in Films such as ‘Bend it like Beckham’ and ‘Goal’. He has doubled for David himself on many occasions for adverts such as Pepsi, Adidas, Vodafone, Play Station, Beckham Instinct and Castrol Oil where he also worked along side the likes of some of the worlds top footballers and personalities.

Terry Coldwell – Singer/Rapper – East 17:  Formed in WalthamstowLondon in 1991, one Terry Coldwellof the most successful groups ever, East 17 achieved 18 Top 20 singles and four Top 10 albums. Their boy band style was unique occasionally blending rap and pop in songs such as “House of Love“, “Steam” and “Let It Rain”. As of 2012, the group have sold 20 million records worldwide.

Mr Rootsy – AKA #EveryonesFavouriteLondonBoy , is a UK Urban Rapper/Recording artist

Mr Rootsywho first came into the public eye back in 2000 when as a 16 year old he won the “UK Youth Talent Open Mic Competition”. He has since performed at various clubs & open mic nights across the UK including; 02 London Arena, Liverpool Arena, Brixton Electric Social, The White House, Club XOYO, Love & Liquor, Earl Of Camden, Bar Flux, The Bridge Bar , Joe Bananas, The Roxburys, Bank Club plus many more. In 2012 Mr Rootsy entered X Factor & performed “What Will Be Will Be” (which was written in tribute to his good friend that sadly passed away in early 2012), at the 02 Arena, London in front of Garry Barlow, Nicole Sherzinger, Tulisa & Louis Walsh. He received 3 yes’s from the judges & a huge response from the crowd, making him the first rapper to ever reach the bootcamp stage of X Factor UK.

So now our celebrity team is well & truly ready to get serious on the pitch on Sunday July 28that Harlow FC’s Football ground.
